What is Z-Wave?

Z-Wave is the international wireless protocol for communication in the Smart Home. This device is suited for use in the region mentioned in the Quickstart section.

Z-Wave ensures a reliable communication by reconfirming every message (two-way communication) and every mains powered node can act as a repeater for other nodes (meshed network) in case the receiver is not in direct wireless range of the transmitter.

This device and every other certified Z-Wave device can be used together with any other certified Z-Wave device regardless of brand and origin as long as both are suited for the same frequency range.

If a device supports secure communication it will communicate with other devices secure as long as this device provides the same or a higher level of security. Otherwise it will automatically turn into a lower level of security to maintain backward compatibility.

Product Description

The efficient Tesvor X500 Pro Hybrid 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop is equipped with modern sensors and functions to manage your daily vacuuming and mopping tasks completely autonomously. The smart device cleans hard floors such as laminate, parquet and tiles, but also short-pile carpets.

The vacuuming and mopping robot can be controlled and scheduled manually or via the free app (iOS, Android) while you are away from home. The app offers you a wide range of functions and options to choose from. For example, you can monitor the cleaning processes, set a schedule or define the selection of the appropriate cleaning mode. In addition, you can control the device with your voice via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Thanks to the smart and innovative navigation, the Tesvor X500 Pro creates a room map in real-time. This allows it to plan its cleaning path and adapt to your rooms.

The Gyroscope SLAM navigation and the 3-level cleaning system ensure a careful and comprehensive cleaning. Dust and dirt particles are picked up by the rotating floor rollers and transported into the collection container by a powerful suction. This guarantees a complete and efficient cleaning. Due to the systematic driving method, the vacuuming and mopping robot works efficiently and saves time. The powerful battery allows up to 120 minutes of running time for a cleaning area up to 150 m². You can monitor the cleaning progress via the app.

The Tesvor X500 Pro climbs up to 15 mm high edges and steps. To use the suction function, the dust container needs to be mounted inside the device so that the vacuumed dust can be collected in it. You can easily remove the dust container, empty it and use it again.

In addition to the dust container, the Tesvor X500 Pro also comes with an electrically controllable water tank. The water tank needs to be filled with fresh water and then a microfibre cloth is attached. This makes it easy to remove dirt and grime from hard floors. The amount of water can be individually adjusted and controlled via the app. This means that the range varies accordingly. After mopping, you can remove the microfibre cloth, wash it out and use it again. Please note that the X500 Pro cannot climb over steps once the water tank is mounted!

The robot vacuum cleaner with wiping function is equipped with a variety of sensors such as anti-collision and fall prevention sensors. This allows the smart device to detect obstacles at an early stage and avoid them without bumping into them. In the case of stairs or steps, the robot vacuum reacts early and changes its direction of movement.

But that is not all. Thanks to the particularly low height of only 7.5 cm, the smart device can also clean under low furniture and in hard-to-reach areas. When cleaning is complete or the battery of the X500 Pro is low, the Tesvor X500 Pro moves to the charging station and charges automatically.

Thanks to OTA technology, you are always up-to-date. Via your W-LAN connection, new updates are simply transferred to the smart device by the manufacturer.

Prepare for Installation / Reset

Please read the user manual before installing the product.

In order to include (add) a Z-Wave device to a network it must be in factory default state. Please make sure to reset the device into factory default. You can do this by performing an Exclusion operation as described below in the manual. Every Z-Wave controller is able to perform this operation however it is recommended to use the primary controller of the previous network to make sure the very device is excluded properly from this network.

Safety Warning for Mains Powered Devices

ATTENTION: only authorized technicians under consideration of the country-specific installation guidelines/norms may do works with mains power. Prior to the assembly of the product, the voltage network has to be switched off and ensured against re-switching.

Inclusion/Exclusion

On factory default the device does not belong to any Z-Wave network. The device needs to be added to an existing wireless network to communicate with the devices of this network. This process is called Inclusion.

Devices can also be removed from a network. This process is called Exclusion. Both processes are initiated by the primary controller of the Z-Wave network. This controller is turned into exclusion respective inclusion mode. Inclusion and Exclusion is then performed doing a special manual action right on the device.

Quick trouble shooting

Here are a few hints for network installation if things dont work as expected.

  1. Make sure a device is in factory reset state before including. In doubt exclude before include.
  2. If inclusion still fails, check if both devices use the same frequency.
  3. Remove all dead devices from associations. Otherwise you will see severe delays.
  4. Never use sleeping battery devices without a central controller.
  5. Dont poll FLIRS devices.
  6. Make sure to have enough mains powered device to benefit from the meshing
